Hilton Des Moines Downtown

The Hilton Des Moines Downtown is on the west side of the Des Moines River in downtown, across the street from the city's convention center and a short walk from the Wells Fargo Arena. It's a 330 room hotel with amenities that include a restaurant, an indoor pool, a fitness center and free airport shuttle.

Unlike the downtown areas in many river cities that grow up on one side of the river, you'll find downtown Des Moines on both sides of the city's namesake river. The east side contains the Iowa State Capitol and other government buildings, while the west side includes cultural and sports venues. The campus of Drake University is about 1.5 miles northwest of downtown.
