Not to be confused with Vancouver or Vancouver Island in Canada; Vancouver, Washington is part of the Portland, Oregon metro area, on the north side of the Columbia River. The Heathman Lodge is an interesting example of a woodsy lodge in an otherwise urban setting. The hotel includes 20 suites, 182 guestrooms, 10,000+ square feet of meeting space, and Hudson’s Bar & Grill. It's about 15 miles north of downtown Portland and 175 miles south of Seattle.
